SURMAC, INC. ("SURMAC") is an industry leader in building rehabilitation services such as waterproofing, water jetting, chemical cleaning, specialty coatings, masonry and concrete repair, concrete grinding and polishing, parapet cap fabrication and installation, terra cotta and architectural detail replication, and commercial roofing.  Performing high quality work nationwide, SURMAC focuses on existing commercial and industrial properties in need of rehabilitation.  However, SURMAC also renders services, particularly waterproofing and concrete grinding and polishing, for new construction projects.  Additionally, many clients avail themselves of our consulting services to determine causes of and solutions for particular building maintenance and repair challenges.

This old building in downtown San Antonio is being renovated to become Towne Place Suites Marriott.   Three other contractors attempted without success to clean the building, and the owner believed sandblasting would be required. SURMAC is achieving excellent results using an extremely safe, non-abrasive restoration system.  After cleaning, we'll be tuck-pointing and sealing to stop water intrusion.  The work has proceeded without complaint during a busy tourist season.
