SURMAC is a full-service source for comprehensive building envelope repair and maintenance. We routinely perform exterior restoration work on historic and noteworthy buildings, and are often called upon for projects requiring major work without interruption in business or inconvenience to building tenants or guests. SURMAC's many jobs for hospitality industry clients are but a few such examples.
SURMAC is especially adept at designing and implementing innovative, economical solutions to building maintenance problems. Check out our Cost-Saving Solutions page to see examples of challenging projects where SURMAC's ideas resulted in substantial savings for our clients.
In addition to our work on buildings, SURMAC has helped design and implement restoration protocols on projects as diverse as the RMS Titanic "Big Piece" currently touring the U.S., a retired Saturn V Rocket for the Smithsonian Institute, and the Hermann Heights Monument (a.k.a. "Hermann the German" in New Ulm, MN), the largest free-standing statue in the U.S. other than the Statue of Liberty.
SURMAC has been designated a preferred contractor by Sherwin Williams Company and is an approved contractor for numerous other product systems, including Poly Tuff International, Ardex Engineered Cements, Retro-Plate Floor Surfacing Systems, Poly Granite International, Mapei, Foxfire Enterprises and UCSC Roofing Systems.
SURMAC won the International Concrete Repair Institute’s 2004 Award of Merit (world-wide) for our repair of an industrial concrete floor for Cross & Company Realtors at Landmark Distribution Center in San Antonio.
