Company founder and president Rick Watson has been in the specialty contracting business (as company owner) since 1973 and has completed numerous major restoration projects nationwide. A "hands-on" executive who may usually be found on the job site, Rick has Master Certificates in more than 20 areas of specialty contracting and has attended some 30+ schools for various certifications and applicator approvals.

Surmac, Inc. prides itself on the quality of its workforce. We are fortunate to have a stable and highly skilled team of technicians, some of whom have been working with Rick for 25+ years and others of whom are the third generation of their family to work with him (including his son, James Watson). We make sure to stay informed about current product and technology developments in our industry, and all employees are afforded the opportunity to attend technical and safety courses and enhance their skills through additional special training.

To provide our clients with the excellent service they have come to expect, we support company field operations with an office staff that goes the extra mile, including Office Manager Joni Huffstutler, Administrative Aide Mary Sweet, and Project Manager Brandy Donecker. Surmac, Inc. office and field operations are coordinated to keep Surmac, Inc. projects running smoothly on time and on budget.
